Sauce perfection takes time
From the farm land of Guilford County in Central North Carolina, the basics for
Big Steve's BBQ Paint was born. The turn of the century brought no hope in society
for African Americans, but cooking and flavor sure did.
Over the generations, the recipes were passed down by watching and learning.

Celebrate the sauce
Fast forward to the 1960's to see Big Steve learning on the 177-acre farm he grew up on.
His grandmother cooked and he learned. It is that simple.
